Is Full Disk Access safe?

Yes. Full Disk Access is only used to check file sizes and types. Karumac never reads file contents or sends them externally. It's a standard macOS permission used by many utility apps.

Is my data sent anywhere?

Scan results are processed entirely on your Mac. Only when you use the AI chat feature are your messages and scan summaries sent to the AI server. File contents and passwords are never transmitted.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, cancel with one click anytime. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period, then you'll simply return to the free plan.

Which Macs are supported?

Any Mac running macOS 13 (Ventura) or later. Both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs are fully supported.

What if I accidentally delete something?

Karumac moves files to Trash instead of permanently deleting them. Changed your mind? Just restore from Trash.

Is my personal data safe?

Karumac never reads file contents. It only checks "size" and "type." Your photos, documents, and passwords are never touched.

How is this different from CleanMyMac?
