Karumac ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how information is handled within the App.
The App scans your Mac's disk information (file sizes, paths, last used dates, etc.), and basic scanning and cleanup are processed locally on your Mac. When you use AI chat, the summaries described below are sent online.
When chatting with Karuma-shi in "Chat" mode, the following information is sent to AI services (DeepSeek API via Supabase):
* Photo and document contents are not automatically uploaded. Messages you enter are transmitted: do not enter passwords or other secrets.
Google sign-in uses Supabase to manage your email, display name and user ID. Device name, hashed device identifier, last connection time, plan and AI usage counts are also stored. Stripe handles payments. The App never directly stores your credit card numbers or other payment details.
The App does not share your information with third parties except in the following cases:
Settings, storage history and operation logs are stored locally. Authentication is stored in macOS Keychain. Removing the app bundle may leave these files, Keychain entries and cloud account records in place. Contact support to request account deletion.
The App uses HTTPS encryption for all communication with AI APIs to ensure secure data transmission.
Basic scans can start without additional access. Reviewing protected locations and moving selected items may require macOS permission. Photos and documents are not automatically read. App metadata is read to identify installed software.
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
This policy may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be announced within the App or on our website.
