Karumac ("the App") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how information is handled within the App.
The App scans your Mac's disk information (file sizes, paths, last used dates, etc.), but all of this information is processed locally on your Mac and is never sent to external servers.
When chatting with Karuma-shi in "Chat" mode, the following information is sent to AI services (DeepSeek API, Moonshot AI, etc.):
* File contents, passwords, and other sensitive information are never transmitted.
For paid plans, payment processing is handled through an external payment service. The App never directly stores your credit card numbers or other payment details.
The App does not share your information with third parties except in the following cases:
Scan results and chat history are stored in your Mac's local storage. Deleting the App will also delete this data.
The App uses HTTPS encryption for all communication with AI APIs to ensure secure data transmission.
The App requires macOS "Full Disk Access" permission to perform comprehensive scans. This permission is used solely to check file sizes and types — the App never reads file contents.
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
This policy may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be announced within the App or on our website.
